Christian charity RISE:61, based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join their Senior Leadership Team as Head of Finance and Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the organisation's continued growth and impact.
RISE:61 is dedicated to supporting children and young people, and this role is pivotal in ensuring the charity's financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and governance compliance. The organisation is embarking on an exciting season of opportunity, with ambitious plans including a proposed £500k Youth & Family Hub build.
Key Responsibilities and Priorities
In the first year, the successful candidate will focus on several key areas, including:
- Providing robust financial oversight and managing budgeting, forecasting, and reserves using Xero.
- Leading the Finance Officer and Engaging People Manager, ensuring high-quality programme delivery.
- Maintaining the organisational risk register and ensuring GDPR data protection compliance.
- Overseeing data integrity and impact measurement systems to clearly demonstrate the charity's effectiveness.
About the Role
This is a hybrid position, requiring 50% time on-site within the Bemerton Heath community in Salisbury. The role is offered on a 3 to 4-day a week basis (22.5 to 30 hours), with flexibility for full-time for the right candidate. The salary is £36,000-£40,000 FTE, with a target start date of September 2026.
